The term engraved laminate refers to materials that can be engraved or etched through processes such as laser engraving or CNC engraving. 

Engraved laminate sheets have multiple applications, which include POS, model making, signs, decorative and architectural applications, casings, plaques, labels, and identification plates, for example.

The engraving process removes a portion of the top layer to reveal a different colour or material underneath, creating a high-contrast and easy-to-read design and in addition to their durability, engraved laminates are also resistant to UV light, wear, and a variety of environmental factors. They are often used in applications where the engraved information needs to remain legible for an extended period.
